Alinea has a partnership with Spinal Cord Injuries Australia (SCIA), a for-purpose organisation working for people living with spinal cord injury and other neurological conditions.
We partner with them on their Transition House initiative, a real-life modified home environment, giving the person with an injury and their family the opportunity to become familiar with activities of daily living, identifying independence capabilities and potential home modification options.
In the vein of our support for organisations with similar and overlapping missions, we are happy to bring your attention to the upcoming Western Australian conference of the Australian & New Zealand Spinal Cord Society.
The theme of the conference is ‘Sustainability’ and the organisers say they will be joining with participants to “explore personal, social, and planetary sustainability through conversations on the power of connections & relationships, the purpose and process of equity & justice, and how we can come together for collective healing”.
