Alinea would like to acknowledge World Spinal Cord Injury Day, which takes place on the 5th September each year.

Since launching the Day in 2016, the International Spinal Cord Society has highlighted a particular concern for the worldwide community – this year, the theme is “Access to SCI services; a life less complicated.”

Access to spinal cord injury services is critical for individuals with such injuries and their families. However, access to these services can be complicated due to various factors, such as lack of available resources, geographic location, financial constraints, and a lack of knowledge about the services available. This can lead to a life that is unnecessarily complicated, adding more challenges to an already difficult situation.

The Alinea community has members who face the challenges of spinal cord injuries and would like to salute them as valuable and active contributors to our family.
