As a community-focused aged care facility, Ritcher Lodge aims to provide its residents with a family-like environment.
Ritcher Lodge is a purpose-built, fully accessible residential aged care facility comprising 45 single rooms with ensuite bathrooms, allowing ageing within a friendly and home-like environment. The Lodge was extensively renovated in 2008.
Ritcher Lodge specialises in caring for people who need help but do not have complex, ongoing care needs.

Assisting Our Residents
Accommodation-related services
Furnishings, bedding, laundry, some toiletries, cleaning services, all meals, maintenance of buildings and grounds, and the provision of on-call staff to provide assistance.
Personal care services
Assistance with the activities of daily living, such as bathing, toileting, meals, dressing, mobility, maintaining continence or managing incontinence, rehabilitation support, and assistance in obtaining health and therapy services.
Lifestyle services
The Lodge provides a wide range of activities as part of a lifestyle programme and encourages interaction with other residents and the wider community.

COVID-19 remains an especially dangerous virus to our residents, and we ask you to follow these restrictions when visiting.
- Wash hands on entry – use alcohol hand wash or hand sinks during a visit
- Sign in and out
- Maintains an arm’s length distance from residents
Please do not visit if you are unwell or have the following flu-like symptoms.
- Fever
- Shortness of breath
- Cough
- Sore throat
- Nasal congestion (stuffy nose)
- Runny nose
- Nausea
- Vomiting and/or diarrhoea
- If you have been in contact with someone who has these symptoms
- If you have been in contact with someone who has tested positive to COVID-19 or Influenza
Please advise the Facility Manager if you have tested positive for COVID-19 or Influenza and have recently visited the service.
