Yesterday, Daphne Shaw (pictured seated, centre) retired from her role as Admin Assistant at Camelia Court, and staff and residents held a morning tea to say goodbye.
Alinea Executive Director Shane Yensch attended and thanked Daphne for her dedication and management of the village and wished her all the best for the future.
The management model of the village has now changed, and the new manager is Hilda Makkink (seated, left), who also oversees the Ritcher Lodge and Osboine aged care facilities (co-located at our Bayswater site).
The village office will be staffed Monday to Friday by a business support assistant (BSA) to ensure business as usual. In the photo is BSA Rebecca (to Shane’s left) along with some of the village residents who also dropped in to say a cheerio to Daphne.
