The Board of Alinea Inc. is delighted to announce the appointment of Mr Phil Martin as the organisation’s next Chief Executive Officer, commencing on 26 October 2026. This appointment marks an exciting new chapter for Alinea as it continues its mission of enriching the lives of older Western Australians and people living with disability through high-quality, person-centred services.

Following a comprehensive search, which resulted in the presentation of a competitive field of candidates, the Board identified Mr Martin as an outstanding leader with the experience, values and strategic capability required to guide Alinea through its next phase of growth and development. As Chief Executive Officer, he will lead the organisation’s diverse portfolio of aged care, disability, employment and community services, while working closely with the Board, staff, clients and stakeholders to advance Alinea’s vision and long-term sustainability.

Board Chair Mr Geoff Currie said Mr Martin impressed the Board with his strong leadership credentials, commercial acumen and commitment to creating meaningful outcomes for the people and communities Alinea serves.

“Phil brings a compelling combination of strategic insight, operational leadership and values-driven decision making. We are delighted to welcome him to Alinea and look forward to working together as we build on the organisation’s proud legacy,” Mr Currie said.

The Board also pays tribute to retiring Executive Director Mr Shane Yensch, recognising his exceptional contribution to Alinea and its predecessor organisations over more than three decades of service, including the past twelve years as Executive Director. Throughout his tenure, Shane has provided steadfast leadership, overseeing significant organisational growth, enhancing service delivery and strengthening Alinea’s reputation as a respected provider of aged care, disability and community services across Western Australia.

“Shane’s dedication, integrity and unwavering commitment to the people we serve have left an enduring mark on Alinea. Shane leaves our organisation in a great position, and we will be forever grateful for his contribution. On behalf of the Board, staff, clients and the broader community, we thank Shane for everything he has achieved for Alinea. Whilst we wish him every success and happiness in his retirement from his position as Executive Director, we look forward to Shane re-joining Alinea as a member of the Board in 2027.” Mr Currie said.
