The work health and safety management system at Alinea has been recognised by Industrial Foundation for Accident Prevention (IFAP) as Platinum level for 2018-2019. We have maintained Platinum status for 3 years.

Some projects conducted last year across the organisation included:

  • Training management staff on the legal requirements of work health and safety.
  • Staff well-being program at our Recreation Centre.

This level of achievement takes a team of dynamic and conscientious individuals, implementing safety initiatives, across our disability and aged care divisions

Accepting the Platinum Safeway Achiever Award on behalf of Alinea Inc. were Communications and Projects Officer, Ashleigh Audino and Client Services Manager, Renuka Rambhatla. The staff attending had an insightful evening at the IFAP/CGU Safeway Awards night, learning about the latest in Western Australian health and safety innovations across a broad range of organisations. Moving forward, in Western Australia, there will be an increased focus on mental health, with IFAP offering training for creating mentally healthy workplaces and resilient teams.

Well done to all staff, volunteers and clients across Alinea for upholding our values to create a safe and healthy workplace.
